Here’s what I look for in a seed stage startup’s pitch deck
Slide 1: Company logo and what it does
Slide 2: Problem you're solving or opportunity you're seizing
Slide 3: Your Team and why you're best suited to solve the problem or seize the opportunity
Slide 4: Solution to the problem or seizing of a unique opportunity = new or how you're doing it like no other
Slide 5. Market validation = dollars that your target audience is paying you repeatedly to solve a problem or repeatable ways that your target audience is engaging with your product that will monetize at a later date
Slide 6: Market size where the TAM (total addressable market) is 1 Billion or more
Slide 7: How your product works and what it looks like
Slide 8: What is your business model? Most VCs know that the model may evolve.
Slide 9: What's your client or user acquisition strategy and CAC (client acquisition costs)?
Slide 10: Competitors and your competitive advantage
Slide 11: Third-party validation: client testimonials, press, media, Advisors, etc
Slide(s) 12+: High-level numbers (progress since last raise if any, current runway, size of round, use and terms of funds, amount being asked for, amounts raised if any, brand name investors if any, and expected revenues and traction for the amount being raised
